QPSG value scale (~0~–~9~)

After ANALYZE, each word in the grid carries a sealed number. That number is the value scale. It is not a grade. It names the job the word is doing — or the fiction the processor wants you to review.

Not legal advice. Language tool only. The table below matches Learn QPSG. Traditional school labels (preposition, article, noun) are not the QPSG names: use position, lodial, and fact.

The ten codes

• ~0~ — Conjunction and void: AND (&), OR (/), ALL, ANY, OTHER. Low weight; often a fiction signal.
• ~1~ — Adverb (often LY). Fictional modifier. Trim when you can.
• ~2~ — Verb: IS (singular), ARE (plural). Present-time. One IS/ARE per sentence.
• ~3~ — Adjective. Fictional coloring / opinion. Limit use.
• ~4~ — Pronoun. Prefer the full fact-name over HE / SHE / IT / THEY.
• ~5~ — Position: BY, FOR, IN, OF, WITH, OVER… One position per phrase. Not “preposition.”
• ~6~ — Lodial: A, AN, THE, THIS… Defines the fact. Not “article.”
• ~7~ — Fact: person, place, or thing in now-time. Hyphenate compounds (LIVING-MAN).
• ~8~ — Past-time fiction: [ED], FROM, HAS. Flag and correct toward present fact.
• ~9~ — Future-time fiction: SHALL, WILL, WOULD, MAY, TO. Replace with IS where the claim is present.

Before (mixed values on one line)

The trustee shall promptly distribute all of the remaining funds to them.

After (fact + position + lodial + one IS)

FOR THE DISTRIBUTION OF THE REMAINING-FUNDS IS WITH [TRUSTEE-NAME] FOR [BENEFICIARY-NAME].

SHALL (~9~) and promptly (~1~) and all (~0~) and them (~4~) leave. The line keeps position (~5~), lodial (~6~), fact (~7~), and one IS (~2~).

How to read the grid

• The number under the word is ~0~–~9~.
• Red / error marks are issues, not the value itself. A ~7~ fact can still be fine.
• Filters: POSITION (~5~), LODIAL (~6~), PRONOUNS (~4~), PAST (~8~). Use them one class at a time.

How to run it

1. Open the processor. Paste a short line or load a template.
2. ANALYZE. Look under each word for ~0~–~9~.
3. Click a filter (POSITION, LODIAL, PRONOUNS, PAST) if the grid is crowded.
4. Fix ~9~ and ~8~ first (future and past), then ~4~ pronouns, then leftover ~1~ / ~3~ modifiers.
